ONE-ON-ONE TIME WITH YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPIST
SOAR Physical Therapy schedules their patients one at a time with their Physical Therapist. This allows the Physical Therapist to be able to give their full attention to each individual patient which leads to better care and better outcomes.
WHO IS PROVIDING YOUR TREATMENT WHILE YOU'RE AT THE CLINIC - A PHYSICAL THERAPIST OR SUPPORT STAFF?
It is not an uncommon practice for an out-patient Physical Therapy clinic to schedule 2-3 patients per Physical Therapist at a time. In these clinics, support staff (sometimes referred to as Physical Therapy technicians) are needed to help manage the workload for the Physical Therapists. Support staff are not Licensed Physical Therapists.
Since SOAR Physical Therapy only schedules one patient per Physical Therapist at a time, each patient is guaranteed to be treated by their Physical Therapist for each of their treatment times.
CONTINUUM OF CARE
At SOAR Physical Therapy, every patient will be scheduled with their evaluating Physical Therapist for each visit. This will lead to a better continuum of care, allowing Physicians and Physical Therapists to communicate more efficiently with each other about patient progress and any plan of care changes that may be needed.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO GO TO PHYSICAL THERAPY?
Clinical studies show that patients that received one-on-one care from their Physical Therapist each visit require less total visits overall. This leads to less money being spent on Physical Therapy and less time away from work and school.
